Bernstine Announces Funding for Police Body Cameras In New Brighton Borough

NEW BRIGHTON – Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-Beaver/Lawrence/Butler) today announced that New Brighton Borough will receive $15,610 in funding from a federal program that offers grants to purchase camera systems, data storage and other costs relating to implementation or expansion of body-worn camera (BWC) systems for law enforcement and corrections institutions in Pennsylvania. Local Projects Receive State Grants Totaling $6 Million

Projects in the 47th Senatorial District were recently awarded state Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grants totaling $6 million according to Senator Elder Vogel. Stefanik Properties LLC, was awarded $2 million for the proposed development of the Stafanik Industrial Park on an 18-acre site in Center Township, Beaver County. The project includes the proposed construction of two buildings and the development of infrastructure to support the site. $1 Million Grant Will Fund New Training Center For Electrical Trade In Lawrence County

NEW CASTLE – A $1 million grant from the state Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program will fund a state-of-the-art electrical apprenticeship training center for Lawrence County, state Rep. Borough Manager: Website, Trash Collection Plan Early Priorities in 2021

During Monday’s Ellwood City Borough Council meeting, two projects were highlighted as priorities in the new year. Borough Manager David Allen said the projects of focus in the next two months include modernization of the borough’s website and trash. “We are working to modernize website and improve its functionality,” he said. Ellwood City Borough Council voted to authorize implementation of the Ellwood City Military Banners project. The project will be led by Gabrielle Gretch.
