Police: Ellwood City Man Charged with Sexual Offenses Against a Minor

An Ellwood City man was charged Monday with several counts of sexual offenses against a minor. According to the criminal complaint, David Lollo, 34, of Ellwood City, conducted sexual behavior around a 13-year old girl during times she was at his residence. The complaint specifies that Lollo exposed himself numerous times in front of the girl. He also attempted to be in a hot tub while he was naked with the girl, as well as laid naked beside the girl on a couch. In one instance, Lollo attempted to forcefully remove the girl’s clothes. [Update: McCall was arraigned on a $100,000 bond and placed in the Lawrence County Jail.] Local and state police were involved in a stand off at an Ellwood City home yesterday night. The standoff lasted about seven hours, although no one was hurt. DUI Passenger Threatens to Call Mayor According to the criminal complaint, Larry Anthony, 60, of Ellwood City, was charged with a DUI and failure to stop at a stop sign. The incident occurred on Dec. 20 around 12:45 a.m. when an officer observed a vehicle run a stop sign. Fire Firefighter Assaults Fiance According to the criminal complaint, on Dec. 2, Corey Wearing, 35, of Ellwood City assaulted his fiance. On Dec. 3, police visited the victim at the Ellwood City hospital where she was being treated for injuries. Police: Juvenile DUI Leads to Crash

DUI According to the police report, on Nov. 30 around 2:25 a.m., officers responded to an accident at the intersection of Pershing Street and Madison Avenue. A vehicle had struck the rear of a legally parked car. Both vehicles suffered moderate damage, but there were no serious human injuries. Tenant Steals from Landlord, Sells to Flea Market According to the criminal complaint, on Nov. 18 a landlord informed police that a tenant, David Robertson, 34, of Ellwood City, had stolen items from a rental property. Police: Crying Baby Alerts Neighbors of Mother’s Overdose

At least three Ellwood City residents have died from heroin overdose this year and if it wasn’t for a crying baby, it may have been four. According to the criminal complaint, on Nov. 2 officers responded to a 911 call to check on the welfare of a child crying for an extended period of time. Robbery: B&B Gas Station Attendant Hit A gas station attendant was treated for injuries sustained during a robbery at B&B on 2335 River Road. The robbery occurred around 8:20 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16.
