THEFT ALL OTHER: On December 5th, at approximately 11:51 a.m., PA State Police responded to a reported theft of a real estate sign. This occured near the intersection of 16th Street and W. Lawrence Ave., Wayne Township. This theft occurred approximately between 10/31 and 11/14 according to the report. The real estate sign is an Advantage Homes Real Estate sign that is predominately blue in color with white lettering. The sign is valued at $350.00. The investigation is ongoing. INDECENT ASSAULT OF A MINOR: Micah Peffer, 31, of Ellwood City is charged with Indecent Assault, Corruption of Minors, and Harrassment after an incident in October. According to a criminal complaint, and on October 13th, police were called to a residence on Loop Street for a disturbance. Upon arrival, Peffer and another man were in an altercation after the man received a call that his 12-year-old daughter was touched inappropriatelyl by Peffer. The girl told police that Peffer grabbed her chest and buttocks while she was sitting on a neighboring porch, an account for which two witnesses corroborated. The girl…

RETAIL THEFT: Mark Butler, 24, of Ellwood City, is charged with Retail Theft and Resisting Arrest after an incident on October 4th. According to the criminal complaint, and at approximately 11:45 p.m., Ellwood City Police responded to the Ellwood City Seven-Eleven for a reported theft. The store clerk told officers a male with dread locks had stolen a pack of cigars and was seen walking east on Wampum Avenue. Officers later located the male fitting the description and attempted to stop the man later identified as Butler. Butler would not listen and continued walking and yelling at officers. When officers…
