PennDOT Recruitment Event Thursday for Winter Maintenance Program in Lawrence County

Pittsburgh – PennDOT District 11 is inviting the public to attend a recruitment event on Thursday, September 14 to learn about winter maintenance position opportunities the department offers in Lawrence County. The recruitment event will be held at PennDOT’s New Castle Maintenance Building located at 1800 New Wilmington Avenue, New Castle, PA 16105 from noon to 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 14. Ellwood City Announces 2023 Borough Clean-Up Date

If you have waste to get rid of, here’s your chance. The Borough of Ellwood City has announced information on its upcoming borough clean-up day scheduled for next Saturday. The clean up date is Saturday, September 16th from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Drop off location is the parking lot at 1210 Factory Avenue in Ellwood City, just west of Adams Manufacturing Building #4 and prior to the Moose Lodge. Pine Valley Camp Hosting 10th Annual Ride For Hope

The 10th Annual Pine Valley Ride for Hope will take place on Saturday, September 16th. The ride is set to begin and end at the New Castle Harley-Davidson dealership. After the ride to Pymatuning Spillway, all participants can look forward to a delicious meal provided by Muddy Creek BBQ and musical entertainment by the band Flashback.
