Perry Township Annual Clean-Up Day Is May 3rd

Perry Township will hold its annual clean-up day on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Noon). The cost is $10.00 per load with a $50.00 per load fee for larger vehicles than a car or regular pick-up truck. There will be two collection sites: Perry Township Municipal Building and the Wurtemburg Perry Twp. Volunteer Fire Department. Ellwood City Community Garden Seeks Volunteers

The Ellwood City Community Garden is a collaborative project between the Borough of Ellwood City, the local food bank, and many community volunteers and local businesses. The garden is composed of raised beds, each planted, tended to, and harvested by volunteers from our community. The harvest is donated to the local food bank in a effort to increase access to fresh, nutrient-dense produce for community members in need. Meals on Wheels Looking for Volunteer Drivers

Every day, local volunteers hit the road to deliver hot, nutritious meals to seniors and individuals with disabilities for the Meals on Wheels program, but the demand for these life-sustaining deliveries is outpacing the number of drivers available. In a press release made available by the borough on Monday, the Ellwood City Borough Council has adopted a Utility Account Budget Plan. Ellwood City Borough Council adopted Resolution #2004-4 approving a budget payment plan for utility accounts under the following provisions: Customers may complete the application form provided by the Borough during the annual open enrollment period from the third Monday in March through the third Friday in April.
