Lincoln High School Prom 2025: “What Happens At Prom Stays At Prom”

On Friday, May 2, 2025, Ellwood City Lincoln High School will host its annual prom, themed “What Happens at Prom Stays at Prom,” at the Pittsburgh Event Center, located at Steamfitters Local 449 in Zelienople, Pennsylvania. Before heading to the venue, students will take part in the traditional LHS Promenade at the Leslie Sabo Memorial Auditorium. The Ellwood City Area School District celebrated the outstanding achievement of 23 students who were formally inducted into the National Honor Society during a special ceremony on Saturday evening. Bernstine Announces Loan for Portersville Muddy Creek EMS Ambulance Upgrade

HARRISBURG – Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-Butler/Lawrence) today announced the Portersville Muddy Creek Township Volunteer Fire Department has been approved for an $81,740 loan from the Office of the State Fire Commissioner. POLICE: Weekly Police Blotter

SIMPLE ASSAULT: Richard Newman, 56, of Ellwood City, is charged with Simple Assault after an incident occurring on April 16th. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 7:21 p.m., police were dispatched to Laurel Avenue, Wayne Township for reports of a domestic dispute. Officers spoke to Newman’s wife who reported that she and Newman got into verbal argument that turned physical. Wayne Township residents are invited to participate in the annual clean-up day, which will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until Noon at the Wayne Township Municipal Building, located at 1418 Wampum Road, Ellwood City, PA 16117. Ellwood City Man Sentenced to 21 Years in Prison For Coercing Minor to Produce & Send Child Sexual Abuse Material

PITTSBURGH – A former resident of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, was sentenced in federal court on April 22, 2025, to 252 months of incarceration, to be followed by 15 years of supervised release, on his conviction of coercion and enticement of a minor, and production and receipt of material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor, Acting United States Attorney Troy Rivetti announced today.
