Richard Hogue Replenishment Blood Drive Scheduled For November 8th

The annual Richard Hogue Memorial Blood Drive has been announced and scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Hogue was only 28 when his life was taken on November 16, 2013. At the time of his death, he resided in Enon Valley, worked for Nick Mars Construction as a carpenter, and was a member of the Ellwood City Eagles Club. Municipal Woman’s Club Hosts Dueling Pianos Fundraiser for Gazebo Project

The Municipal Woman’s Club is hosting an evening of music and fun at their Dueling Pianos Fundraiser to support the maintenance and upkeep of the Ellwood City Gazebo. The event will feature the high-energy entertainment of Piano Fiasco and takes place on Saturday, November 15th, from 7 to 9 PM at the North Sewickley Township Fire Hall located at 887 Mercer Rd., Route 65, in Beaver Falls, PA. 15th Annual Ellwood City Oktoberfest Is Saturday

The 15th Annual Oktoberfest will be held on Saturday October 4th from 12pm to 5pm in Ewing Park Rain or Shine. $30 presell or $35 at the door. Conceived by Wolves Club member Matt Walley in 2010, the Annual Ellwood City Oktoberfest turns 15 years old this year. It started out as a fundraiser for the club with games, local brewers, craft beers and food. The 2025 Ellwood City Fall Fest took place on a warm September Saturday in downtown Ellwood City. The annual spectacle features a car cruise and many street vendors. As many as 600 cars adorned Lawrence Avenue and with live music, 50 plus vendors, food trucks, kids games and crafts, and a petting zoo, the fall festival was another autumn success.
