Ellwood City Memorial Swimming Pool Summer Float Nights Set To Begin Saturday

The first of three, free community Summer Float Nights at the Ellwood City Memorial Swimming Pool will take place on Saturday, June 17th with the film Finding Nemo shown. Ellwood City Tennis To Host Mini Clinic

Ellwood City Tennis will be conducting a tennis clinic for any boy or girl interested in learning the basics of tennis. The tennis clinic will be held on June 26th, 27th, and 28th, 2023 at the Ewing Park Courts from 10:00 a.m to 11:15 a.m. Any child ages 5-12 is eligible to sign up and participate. Each participant will receive a t-shirt. The clinic will promote tennis skills from the basic to moderate level. “The participants will learn skills pertaining to tennis. LHS Class of 2003 To Hold Its 20 Year Reunion In June

On June 24, 2023 the Lincoln High School Class of 2003 will hold its 20 year reunion. It will be held at Robert E. Rodgers Memorial Park in Ellport from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Several members of the class began discussing the reunion during the summer of 2022 according to former class president, Dr. Cassie Leymarie PhD, now of Atlanta, Georgia. On Your Mark, Get Ready, Go! Western PA Soap Box Derby Is Next Month

Western PA Soap Box Derby, a fun family event, is Saturday June 3rd, 2023 in Ambridge, PA on 14th Street. Each year any child between the ages of 7 and 18 race down the hill in hopes of winning their way to the All American Championship in Akron Ohio in July and race against other racers from all over America. There they will compete against other drivers to win the world championship and be awarded scholarship money.
