Activities taking place at the Ellwood City Area Public Library include the following: Wednesday, April 27, at 10:00 a.m. — “Coloring for Adults,” a weekly program that is free and open to the public. “Coloring for Adults” is a new concept in helping to reduce the stresses of everyday life. LCCTC Students Bring Home the Gold

Robert Lane Replaces TJ Hill as Magician at Relay for Life Family Friendly Night Out

Robert Lane of Youngstown will replace TJ Hill as the performing magician at the Relay for Life Family Friendly Night Out this Saturday. Due to unforeseen circumstances, magician TJ Hill had to cancel his performance. Lane was highly recommended to replace Hill. In addition, the event will feature children’s author Melanie Atmore, who will be selling her book “From a Butterfly’s Eye.” Atmore has graciously offered to donate some of the proceeds to Relay for Life. Community College of Beaver County Receives International Creative Awards

Monaca – Community College of Beaver County’s marketing department is the recent recipient of three Hermes Creative Awards, an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. The awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production, web and free-lance professionals. Lawrence County’s Annual Earth Day Celebration at Ewing Park

Lawrence County’s Annual Earth Day Celebration will feature more than 40 educational exhibitors and vendors, plenty of exciting activities, great entertainment, horse-drawn trolley rides and a Wild World of Animals show. The event is free and will be held on Saturday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Ewing Park. Beaver County Teaming Up with United Way to Help Fight Hunger

Beaver, PA- The Beaver County Commissioner’s announced today that the County partnering with the United Way’s Scouting for Food Campaign. Area residents and employees can bring non-perishable items to the courthouse or any county satellite office during the month of April. Boxes and signage will be located at the front and back entrances of the courthouse, in the Commissioners’ Office, and at the entrances of the county satellite offices. There are currently 12 food banks in Beaver County that are run by the Salvation Army that feed approximately 4,000 people a month. All food donated will help those in need….
