RHS Student Council To Present Annual Senior Citizens Christmas Program

Riverside High School Student Council will present its annual Senior Citizens Christmas Program & Dinner next week. The afternoon will be full of Christmas favorites with featured entertainment by the High School Chamber Ensemble, Choir, and Band and the Middle School Chorus. The event is scheduled to take place Friday, December 16th from 12:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. at the Riverside High School Auditorium and Cafeteria. Three Games, Three Double-Doubles For Roth; Wolverines Start Season 3-0

Three games in, three double-doubles for Joseph Roth. The Ellwood City junior big man has led the young, upstart Wolverines to an early 3-0 regular season record after the Wolverines wrapped up the Laurel Tip-Off tournament by defeating the host Spartans 61-46 Monday night. Ellwood City will next host its regular season home opener on Friday against the Hopewell Vikings. PHOTOS: ‘Let There Be Lights’ & Christmas Parade

A series of events hosted by the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce kicked off the first weekend of December. Friday evening, Ellwood City held its “Let There Be Lights” downtown extravaganza that featured street vendors, live performances, and the lighting of the large holiday tree in the community plaza. On Saturday, Lawrence Avenue was greeted with floats, groups and trucks as part of the annual Christmas Parade. The Ellwood City Area School District Hall of Fame Committee is unveiling a new Hall of Fame to celebrate the professional achievements and athletic accomplishments of Lincoln Jr/Sr High School alumni. The Hall of Fame Committee was established this year with the mission to honor and recognize those individuals and teams associated with Lincoln High School who have experienced significant accomplishments in their chosen sport and/or field. Local Residents Hosting Vendor and Craft Show to Benefit Club Hope

After feeling an amazing amount of love and support during her Lymphoma diagnosis in March, Betty Phillippi wanted to give back. Rosenberger Signs With Barry University

Riverside Panther standout student-athlete Samantha Rosenberger has officially signed her letter of intent to play Division II softball with Barry University, in Miami, Florida. Rosenberger has received a full academic and athletic scholarship and is pictured signing her paperwork last Friday, November 18th at Riverside High School Rosenberger is a 1B/LHP senior captain for the Lady Panthers Varsity Softball team. Kick off your Holiday’s with a series of events hosted by the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce.
