Pine Valley Motorcycle Ride

Join Pine Valley Camp for their Motorcycle Ride Event this Saturday at 504 Chapel Drive, Ellwood City. This is the 4th year that Pine Valley is hosting this motorcycle ride. Wolverine Softball/Baseball Teams Both Advance In WPIAL Playoffs

The defending WPIAL champion Ellwood City Wolverines softball team received an opening round scare Wednesday afternoon, but twice were able to erase multiple-run deficits to finally oust the pesky 8-seeded Burrell Bucs 6-5 in the WPIAL Class 3A softball quarterfinals Wednesday at North Allegheny. Burrell (8-8 overall) took a 2-0 lead in the fifth, backed by pitcher Brittany Dunn, who took a no-hitter into the sixth inning, but the Lady Wolverines used a walk and a couple errors in their half of the inning to knot the game at two. Ellwood City Primary Election Results

The primary election results for Ellwood City and surrounding Lawrence County areas have been posted on Lawrence County’s official website. Republican incumbents, Connie MacDonald and David DeCaria lost to their challengers, running mates Rob Brough, John Cress, Brandon Fisher, and Lisa Guerrera, by over 100 votes. According to the site, Guerrera led the Republican party with 323 votes, Brough followed closely behind with 320, Cress with 305, and Fisher with 285. New Utility Bill Format, April Due Date Extended

According to information made available on Tuesday, the Borough of Ellwood City has extended the due date for the utility bills to May 26, 2017. Those customers who use auto bank draft will have their payments deducted on May 22, 2017. If customers, who have auto bank draft, and already paid their bill, their payment will be credited toward their next month’s utility bill. Open Street Event to Celebrate Phase One of Bike Route

Updated: 5/19 at 8am: The Ellwood City Kitchen Cabinet is excited to be hosting an Open Street Event in celebration of the completion of Ellwood City’s new bike route.
