Joseph was born on April 19, 1957 in Ellwood City to the late Lawrence and Clara S. (Owoc) Lance. He is a member of the Riverside High School class of 1975, and attended the Community College of Beaver County where he studied maintenance courses. Mrs. Varrato was born on December 25, 1918 in Altoona, Pa to the late Antonio D. and Marie (Lombardi) Carmosino. She had graduated from the Altoona High School in 1938 and then from Mary Hammond’s Beauty School in Altoona. Mrs. Erna C Nussbaum passed away peacefully in her home on Monday August 27, 2018. She was 91 years old. She was a long-time resident of Ellwood City. She leaves behind two daughters, Karin M. Nussbaum and Lydia C. (Edward) Mansur. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hans J. Nussbaum. She was the daughter of Jakob and Cacelie Belka (born Moll).
