Mother Elizabeth, née Helen Mann Lutz, 96, fell asleep in the Lord just prior to the Liturgy on the Feast of Theophany, January 6, 2024, at the Orthodox Monastery of the Transfiguration, Ellwood City, PA, where she has lived and served for the past 43 years. Born May 15, 1927 in Methuen, Massachusetts, she earned Bachelors and Masters degrees, as well as an RN nursing license. She was a talented writer, poet and pianist. Mrs. Delida P. Viccari formerly of Ellwood City, passed away on January 4th, 2024 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Delida was born on August 4th, 1933 in New Castle to the late Domenic and Catherine (Adamo) Tommelleo. She graduated from New Castle High School and then from St. Francis nursing school. Delida went on to become a registered nurse, working in the maternity ward of Mary Evan’s Hospital and later at St. Francis Hospital.
