Mrs. Theresia Manz, 91, of Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023 at the UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Twp. Mrs. Manz was born in Apatin, Yugoslavia on April 25th, 1931 to the late Anton and Maria (Berli) Miller. She had graduated from high school in Yugoslavia. Theresia and her family moved to the United States in 1957 and settled in Ellwood City. For many years she worked at the Ellwood City Knitting Mill until it closed. Mr. Donald J. Mudric, 91, of Wayne Township passed away on Monday, March 6th, 2023 at his residence. Mr. Mudric was born on February 11th, 1932 in Ellwood City to the late Michael Mudric and Mildred (Whitey) Minnetti. Don graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1950. On March 21st, 1951 Don enlisted with the United States Air Force and served until his discharge on March 20th, 1955 with the rank of Staff Sargant. Mr. John “Jack” Charles Hunter, 79, of Franklin Township (Frisco) passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24th, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family, from an extended illness. Mr. Hunter was born on December 9th, 1943 and raised in Hadley, PA the son of the late John H. and Hazel (Smock) Hunter. He had graduated from the Leechburg High School. Mrs. Prence was born in Koppel on September 2nd, 1928 to the late Charles and Rose (Petti) Nardone. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1945.
