Domenick Joseph Santo, 87, of Ellwood City passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Carriage Court in New Castle. Born January 25, 1933 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Anthony and Rose (Lambiase) Santo. He was married to Mathilda Pistacchio Santo for 63 years as they were married on September 29, 1956. She survives. Dom was a member of Holy Redeemer Church and the Sons of Italy in Ellwood City. He was a Korean War Veteran, serving from 1953-1955. Stanley R. Sobona Sr., 76, of New Brighton passed away Friday, May 1, 2020 at his residence following a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 11, 1943 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Joseph T.and Nellie M. (Golmont) Sobona . Stanley retired in 1986 from Babcock and Wilcox following 24 years of service. He then worked at the former Koppel Steel now known as IPSCO Tubular. Stanley attended the Chippewa United Methodist Church. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Penguin fan. Daniel M. Maloney, 59, of Wampum died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at his residence. Born June 17, 1960 in Washington, PA, he was the son of the late John “Jack” Martin and Mary Louise (Ries) Maloney. Dan worked as a Transportation Security Officer for the Department of Homeland Security at the Pittsburgh Airport. He enjoyed camping, landscaping, and woodworking. Angelo J. “Mo” Iannantuono, 91, of Ellwood City passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Quality Life Services in New Castle following an extended illness. Born May 26, 1928 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Ciro and Mary (Turko) Iannantuono. He was married to the late Virginia H. Houk who died February 29, 2012. Born September 23, 1937 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Raymond Ross and Florence Mae (Wemer) Evans. Jim Thompson, wonderful husband, father, and Pap-Pap died unexpectedly Saturday, 4-25-2020 at his residence. Jim was born October 22, 1945 in New Brighton, PA. He was the only child of Bob and Jane (Wycoff) Thompson, but he grew up with close cousins, Jack, Judy, and Jill who filled his childhood with laughter. Jim met the love of his life, Paige Porter, when they were in Junior High. Paige and Jim married while he was attending Slippery Rock as an education major. Jean G. Bush, 77 of Ellwood City, passed away April 23, 2020 at her home following a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. Born June 10, 1942 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter to the late Roy and Janice (Graham) Bash. Jean graduated from Lincoln High School. Following graduation she worked at the knitting mill before raising her family.
