Larry Howard Barge 72 of Wellston, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio following complications during a surgical procedure. Larry was born to the late Howard L. Barge and the late Lilian Marks, and raised by his father and stepmother the late Rose Mary Barge of Ellwood City. Larry served a six-year tour of duty with the US Navy sixth fleet where he was a Corpsman aboard the USS Waccamaw. Waccamaw was a replenishment oiler. He also served on the USS Independence. Born November 15, 1946 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Fred and Leona Thompson Courson. He was married to Cindy Hoyman Courson for 24 years, she survives. Bud was a 1964 graduate of Riverside High School. He spent 30 years in the Air Force National Guard in Pittsburgh retiring as a Master Sergeant. Born June 6, 1922 in Wampum, she was the daughter of the late Hugo and Elizabeth DeLeonardis Ciro. She was married to George Micacchione on June 6, 1945. He passed on January 4, 2002. Born September 30, 1954 in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of the late Joseph and Rella Stiles Crofton.
