James R. Allen, 78, of Wampum passed away  Sunday, March 8, 2020 at his residence following a one year battle with cancer. Born January 23, 1942 in Wampum, PA,  he was the son of the late James J. and Jean Aley Allen.  He is survived by his wife Barbara Stelter Allen, whom he married on June 1, 1961. Jim graduated from Wampum High School in 1959.  He worked at B&W as a scrap controller and later at Veka where he retired. Jim was a member of Barnstone Ministries. Norma J Galmarini, 87, of Galmarini Lane, Wampum passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospice following a one year illness. Born January 14, 1933 in Beaver Falls, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina Piazza Montani . She was married to the late Joseph John Galmarini for 62 years who passed on December 11, 2015. Norma was a graduate of Wampum High School in 1951. Rebecca Sue “Becky” Sanders, 68, of Chippewa passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 at her residence. Although she was in ill health, death was unexpected. Born August 15, 1951 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Chester McQuiston and Jean (Shelatree) McQuiston of Wampum. Becky graduated from Mohawk High School in 1969. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Slippery Rock University and her Master’s Degree from Kent State. Becky worked as a kindergarten teacher in the Cleveland School District. Born February 20, 1922 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Balind and Mary (Toth) Birtalan. Born May 24,1938 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Ruth (Moyer) Bicker. She was married to William E. Miles, who passed away in 2001. Bonnie graduated from Lincoln High School. She worked at Garrett Manufacturing and at Honeywell in the shipping and receiving departments. M. Patricia Seaburn, 81, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh surrounded by loved ones. Born July 28, 1938 in McKeesport, PA, she was the daughter of the late Earl Woodferd and Mildred Virginia (Johnson) Dougherty.
