Born February 12, 1923 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Richey) Stickle. She was married to Harold R. Wiley Sr. who died September 20, 2000. Marie was a longtime member of the Center Presbyterian Church where she was involved with the Lois Morris Circle and the Homemaker’s Club. Catherine I. Jaskolka, 80, of North Sewickley Twp., Ellwood City passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at UPMC – Jameson Hospital following a short illness. She was born in Chewton, the daughter of the late Andrew and Balvine (Modliszewski) Rychlicki. Catherine graduated from Lincoln High School in 1958. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Church and active with the Christian Mothers Society. She was also the secretary at the church, retiring following 42 years of loyal service. Joann Novakovich, 59, of New Beaver Boro passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at UPMC – Jameson Hospital in New Castle. Although in ill health, death was unexpected. Born December 31, 1960 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late John and Mildred (Mrkva) Novakovich. Joann graduated from Lincoln High School in 1978. John H. “Bud” Emerick Jr., 92, of Ellwood City passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver. Born December 14, 1927 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late John H. and Ida Rae (Marion) Emerick Sr. Bud graduated from Lincoln High School in 1945. A veteran, he served as a Second Lieutenant with the Combat Engineers during WW II dealing with the reconstruction in Germany. Bruce L. Drotleff Sr., 64, of Slippery Rock Twp. passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at his home from an apparent heart attack. Born February 28, 1956 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late William and Anna Mae (Householder) Drotleff. He was married to Karen Tanner Drotleff for 18 years as they were married September 15, 2001. She survives. Bruce worked for PA Department of Transportation out of Lawrence County.
