Do you remember paying the bill on paydays, selling pop bottles there for two cents, meeting the neighbors, buying penny candy, sampling the produce, and maybe, even forgetting to pay for something. Ellwood Area Egg Hunt Committee will be holding their 22nd Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 8, in Ewing Park for all area children ages nine and under. Four and under hunts start at 11 and run till the end of the events, the five to nine year old hunts start at 1:30p.m. There will be over 7,000 Easter Eggs handed out. Activities taking place at the Ellwood City Area Public Library include the following: Monday, March 13, at 6:30 p.m. – Classics Book Discussion Group for Adults. The group will discuss the book, “Intruder in the Dust,” by William Faulkner. New members are welcome, so call the library at 724-758-6458 for more information. The regular monthly membership meeting of the Ellwood City Area Historical Society will meet 6:30 p.m., Monday March 13 at the History Center, 310 fifth Street, Ellwood City.
