The Ellwood City junior high softball team was able to stave off a 10-run fourth inning and subsequent rallying attempts by Beaver to preserve a 13-12 victory on Friday at Beaver. The Wolverines jumped out to an early 8-0 lead but saw the host Bobcats post a 10-run fourth inning to take its first lead of the ballgame.
