2016 Riverside Panther Night

Yesterday held Riverside’s annual Panther Night, where hundreds of people gathered in celebration of recognizing this year’s fall sports teams. The night of festivities included raffles, concessions, band and cheering performances, and of course, introducing all of the team members. All of the teams have trained hard and are excited for their upcoming competitions. We encourage everyone to continue showing the local teams your support, and we would like to wish all the sports players and band members a productive and winning year! His concern with this is that the plant will be supplying water to homes from the Connoquenessing Creek and Beaver River instead of where the water is currently supplied from, the Slippery Rock Creek. His main concern is that the quality of the newly proposed water sources are less than that of the…

Fortunately, the whole incident was a misunderstanding and no one got hurt. The man who thought his house was being robbed was apparently unaware that his house had been sold in a Sheriffs Auction and was now under new ownership. The new owner hired a group of teenagers to help clean up the property. Coincidentally at the same time the teens were there working, the previous owner arrived on the…

Local Artist Invites All to See His Dinosaur Replicas

George Shean, a disabled veteran living on Rhode Island Avenue in Ellwood, encourages all in the area to come by and view the replica T-Rex skeletons he has designed and displayed on his front lawn. There are currently two replicas, one is a large T-Rex which stands six feet tall, four and a half feet wide, 23 feet in length and took roughly eight months to complete, then there is a smaller T-Rex, reaching a maximum length of nine feet, that stands guard over their replica T-Rex nest. In order to create the replicas, Shean stated that he starts out…
