BodyShop Group Fitness to hold 4th Annual Halloween Boo-T Camp

Ellwood City’s longest-running exercise establishment will once again hold their popular Halloween Boo-T Camp, on October 29, 2016, and you won’t want to miss it.

This three hour workout session includes half hour increments of six group fitness classes from the world-renowned Les Mills programs.  The day is filled with samples, snacks, and costumes – provided those attending dress up!

Cost: $10   Includes: T-Shirt, Snacks, 3 Hour Workout, and tons of Fun!

Warning: The first three years of the event have all sold out, and this one is expected to as well, so if you are interested you should sign up before it’s too late.  Registration must be done in person by Friday October 14th. Boo-T camp will be held from 8-11:00am, before the Ellwood City Halloween parade.

Unable to attend Boo-T Camp this year? Stop by sometime and check out their classes for free, you are able to try each class for free the first time you take it.  Be sure to keep an eye out for the always creative BodyShop t-shirts during the Halloween Parade on Lawrence Avenue.

When Co-Owner Brenton Gilmore was asked what makes this event so special, he replied: “The food and costumes, fun with friends, the overall family feeling, and the challenging, but fun workouts we have every day at our gym.  This is a great reason to get together on a weekend and build relationships within the community, as well as our fitness.”

Gilmore, and his wife, Shakira, are joined by Shakira’s mother, Debbie VanGorder and Renae Rudy as the four co-owners of the BodyShop and have 47 combined years of certified experience instructing group fitness.

“We believe in group fitness,” says Dena Noble, BodyShop member and Lincoln High School Teacher/Girls Basketball Coach. “Unlike working out at home or by yourself, the classes keep you accountable and motivated.  And the greatest additional benefits are the friends you develop.  Here, we all share similar goals and lift each other up to reach them.”

The BodyShop, located at the Creekside Commons Building, on Wampum Ave, (with Lori L’s Hair and Nail Salon and Soother Tanning), has a long-running history of fun events like the Halloween Boo-T Camp.  Annually they hold their Shamrock Shape-Up, another marathon event held around St. Patrick’s Day.  Special kick-offs are held almost monthly to launch the newest program releases accompanied by giveaways and drawings.  They also organize teams for March of Dimes, adventure races, 5 and 10k races, and much more.  Coming soon you will also find: special Breast Cancer Awareness events, the 12 Days of Fit-mas holiday competition, and the 100th release of their most popular class, BODYPUMP.
