The Ellwood City Halloween Parade is one of the most popular events among Ellwood families for good reason, not only is it fun to watch but it offers an interactive experience for the children who want to dress up and participate in the parade.
The annual Ellwood City Halloween Parade will march down Lawrence Avenue Saturday, October 29 at 3:30. The parade will start at the intersection of 4th Street and Lawrence Avenue and end at the intersection of 8th Street and Lawrence Avenue.
Staging will take place in the Holy Redeemer School parking lot. Participants are encouraged to arrive before 2:45 and enter the lot at Crescent Avenue and 3rd Street. Parents may drop off their children on Crescent Avenue between 3rd Street and 4th Street. The parade will disband along the 800 Block of Lawrence Avenue.
Anyone interested in participating in the parade should call Scott Golmic, Parade Director, at 724-816-0498. Donations to the Ellwood City Parade Committee can be made payable to Ellwood City Parades, and mailed to 300 Pershing Street, Ellwood City, PA 16117.
The Kitchen Cabinet will be hosting a pre-parade Open Street event on Lawrence Avenue from 12:00-3:00. Any interested street musicians or artists can call Earla Marshall at 724-758-0971.
