Relay For Life Event Leadership Meeting Wednesday, September 14, 2016 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.

It is time again to start planning for the 2017 Ellwood City Relay For Life event.  Our members have been busy working on new ideas for more community involvement, come out and give us your ideas!  We meet at the Wellness Center next to Ewing Park Bridge at 6 pm, don’t shy away because of the meeting length or because you don’t  want to be committed to long term involvement in Relay.  Give us what time you have and be included in how this event comes together every year.  It can only become bigger and better with your help; why not join us at our meetings?

 Magic and Music Saturday. September 17, 2016  6:00 – 11:00 P.M.

Relay For Life team Circle of Friends is having a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and the Ellwood City Relay For Life.  They are welcoming back magician TJ Hill and a local band DJ Lordi, Biddy Nye, and Friends.  Join us at the Delmar Golf Course Tin Cup Grill on Smiley Road in Ellwood City for an evening of magic and music.  Doors open at 6:00 pm with TJ taking the stage at 7:30 followed by DJ Lordi, Biddy Nye, and Friends at 9:00 pm.  The kitchen will be open with half price appetizers, and cash bar with drink specials.  A $10 donation will be taken at the door, only open to the 21 and over crowd.  Come out and have a wonderful fun evening of entertainment.

 It is time again for the North Sewickley Presbyterian Church Flea Market at 106 Chapel Drive.  As in years past; North Sewickley Walkers Relay For Life team will be holding their book sale in the PreSchool Room down the hall from Fellowship Hall.  Come in and browse our collection of childrens’ books; science fiction; craft and cookbooks; just to name a few. Drop off books starting Sunday, September 18^th and place in preschool room.  Winter will soon be here and what better way to enjoy the season than with a good book, a cup of your favorite hot beverage and a warm blanket.

Fifty-six seats are available for this latest Casino trip; contact Rhonda Pintur at 724-752-6758 or 412-974-2303 for your reservation.  The cost is $35.00 per person which includes $25.00 slot player voucher received on arrival to casino.  You will need a valid photo ID (state or federal) to receive the incentive package.  Please be in the Ellwood City hospital parking lot before the 9:00 am departing time.  During the ride there will be games and prizes so why not take the bus to the casino!  All proceeds benefit Ellwood City Area Relay For Life, hosted by Relay For Life Team Circle of Friends.
