Richard V. Fisher, 85 of Perry Highway (US Rte 19), Portersville, passed away on Saturday, August 13th 2016 at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot, Pennsylvania.
Dick was born in New Castle PA on September 14, 1930 to the late Vernon T. and Alda Jane Fisher. He married the former Florence Louise Fisher who preceded him in death on September 25, 2008.
Dick was a dairy farmer and lifelong member of Oak Grove Presbyterian Church, Old Rte 422, Portersville. He was also a member of the Pennsylvania Guernsey Breeders Association.
Mr. Fisher is survived by his son: Gary L. “Fish” Fisher; one daughter: Cindy L. Speer, both of Portersville; eight grandchildren, and his sister, Betty Jane McKean of Butler.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister; Carolyn McFarland.
Visitation was scheduled for 10 to 11 am, Tuesday, August 16th, followed by a funeral service at 11 am at the Oak Grove Presbyterian Church, conducted by Rev. Judith A. Wilson, church pastor.
Interment will be in the Mount Hermon-Union Cemetery.
