New Wilmington’s Got Talent Announces 2026 Winners

Talent was on full display at “New Wilmington’s Got Talent,” held Sunday, August 23, at the Admiral Robert Shumaker Borough Park Amphitheater. Inspired by the hit show America’s Got Talent, the event featured a fun mix of performances by youth from across the region.

This year’s competition featured two age categories: Young Stars, for performers age 14 and under, and Rising Stars, for performers ages 15–21. Winners included:

1st place Young Stars: Regan Marshall, age 10, from Bessemer, PA, singing and dancing to “Naughty” from Matilda the Musical.
2nd place Young Stars: Frankie B. Jr., age 14, from Youngstown, OH, performing a soulful rendition of Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition.”
1st place Rising Stars: Allison Stuart, age 15, from New Wilmington, PA, singing “The Wizard and I” from Wicked.
2nd place Rising Stars: a brother/sister duo from New Wilmington, PA, who entertained the audience with a duet, with the brother accompanying on guitar.
Fan Favorite: Paul Seman, age 11, from Volant, PA, won the audience’s vote for his performance of the Beatles’ “Here, There, and Everywhere.”

A total of 18 youth participated in the show, showcasing a diverse range of musical performances, dance routines, and variety acts, including a Rubik’s Cube solver and a sister duo performing baton twirling with dance. The event concluded with one of last year’s winners, Violet Horodyski, age 11 from Pulaski, PA, singing “Waiting on a Wish” from Snow White.

“Celebrity” judges included Sherie Babb, mayor of New Wilmington; Allison Ciavarino, Wilmington Area School District Elementary and Upper Elementary Principal; Todd Cole, Adjunct Professor, Westminster College School of Education; and Gloria Rigsby, Campus Visit & Event Coordinator, Westminster College.

Winners received cash prizes thanks to the generous donations from supporters of “New Wilmington Arts in the Park.”

“New Wilmington’s Got Talent” is sponsored by the EDCOM Live New Wilmington Amphitheater Committee and organized by the Youth Unplugged Committee. Youth Unplugged continues to provide opportunities for young people in the New Wilmington community.
