VOTE! Local 3-year-old Vying for Hasbro “Toddler of the Year”

Katie Kinney is a spunky, self-proclaimed silly goose who makes everyone laugh with her faces/reactions.

Now the 3-year-old is vying for Hasbro’s “Toddler of the Year” award.

The winner will bring their main character energy to a national ad campaign, take home $25,000, and lead the 2026 Hollywood Christmas Parade viewed by millions of families across the country.

She has made it through all the preliminary rounds and is in the finalist rounds according to her mother, Rachel Kinney.

“She is sweet and confident.”

According to her Hasbro profile page, the family would use the grand prize winnings to get Katie more professional pediatric optometric care for her eye issues.

“She will need new glasses and new specialist appointments soon and $25,000 would really help make it possible for us to get her that kind of help.” says Rachel. “It would also go to her preschool tuition.”

Katie will start Little Angels softball this fall for the first time according to her mother and her favorite restaurant is 2nd Ward Sanctuary. Katie’s favorite thing to do is swim at Ewing Park.

About Katie’s personality
Katie is sweet & spunky, full of middle child energy. She loves both snuggles & puppies and also roller coasters & head banging to heavy rock music. She marches to the beat of her own drum, but nonchalantly. She’s can be introverted and hides under a bucket when she needs a break. And she’s always says hi to anyone in public that looks like a grandparent. She has an iconic cackle-laugh that cracks everyone up. Finally, Katie loves taking photos to show off her repertoire of hilarious faces.

What are Katie’s favorite things to do?
Katie loves: snuggling on the couch, loving and also teasing her two siblings and four cats, sassy comebacks, taking silly photos, eating Mac & cheese, taking really long naps, hiding from people when she’s tired of them, chatting with random elderly people at the store, playing dress up/tea party/Barbies, Magnatiles, taking walks in her small town, carrying too many stuffed animals at once around the house till she falls, building little houses & towns for toy animals, and rocking out to music
