Stephanie Eileen Dixon, of Bowie, MD completed her earthly journey on Monday, June 8, 2026, at home. She was 60 years old. Born in Harrisburg, PA, she was the beloved daughter of Portia (Kirklin) Dixon and Bernard Dixon, Jr. She was the sister of Valerie of NC and her brothers Geoffrey of WV, and Rodney (sister-in-law Kim) of Crofton, MD.
Stephanie grew up attending Prince George’s County public schools including Pointer Ridge Elementary and Thomas G. Pullen Junior High. She attended Largo High School before enrolling at Elizabeth Seton High School, from which she graduated. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Morgan State University and a Master’s in Accounting from Strayer University. She was a dedicated Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for over 25 years.
In addition to her parents and siblings, she is survived by her five nephews and nieces—Maxwell Bernard Dixon of NY; Jordan L. Butler of NC; along with Bernard Hunter, Brooke Olivia and Kendall Hope of Crofton, MD. She is also survived by her uncle Dr. Duane Kirklin (Ruby); her aunt Letitia Dyson and cousin William Elton Dyson III; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Perry and Martha Kirklin of Ellwood City, PA.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 12:00PM at the Slippery Rock Presbyterian Church Cemetery located at 258 Slippery Rock Drive in Ellwood CIty with Pastor James Johnson, officiating.
Interment will be in Slippery Rock Presbyterian Cemetery located in Ellwood City.
Arrangements entrusted to the Turner-Hyde Funeral Home located at 6th and Park in Ellwood City.
