Many in the area the month used the wet and oddly cold month of April to buy or sell real estate property.

The Lawrence County housing market is experiencing rapid price appreciation, with median sale prices rising 25% year-over-year to $173,300, according to Redfin.  The median sale price per square foot in Lawrence County is $122, up 15.1% since last year.

More specifically, the Ellwood City housing market is somewhat competitive. The median sale price of a home in Ellwood City was $179,000 last month, up 23.2% since last year at the same time. The median sale price per square foot in Ellwood City is $114, down 3.0% since last year.
