The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.
HOURS
Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.
Activities taking place this week include.
MONDAY, APRIL 6
- 10:30 a.m. – “Music and Movement,” ages walking toddlers – 5ish. Singing, dancing and playing instruments.
- 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
TUESDAY, APRIL 7
- 10:30 a.m. – “Adult Special Needs Hangout,” families and caretakers are welcome too.
- 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8
- 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
- 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – “Tween and Teen After School Club,” snacks and activities for grades 5-12.
THURSDAY, APRIL 9
- 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
- 2:00 p.m. – “Adult Book Group,” will be discussing the book “The Measure” by Nicki Erlick.
- 6:00 p.m. – “Friends of the Library Meeting”
FRIDAY, APRIL 10
- 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” bring your own material or use the libraries.
- 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” Come and socialize while you work on a project.
- 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – “Family Game Night,” Come and enjoy and evening of game playing with your family and other families.
- Nova Health Care will be at a table in the library on April 10th for a hiring event
SATURDAY, APRIL 11
- Library will close at 11:00 for “Brunch with the Library”
- Doors open at 10:00 at Christ Presbyterian Church 325 Spring Ave. Ellwood City. Tickets are $30 available at the Library.
SAVE THE DATE
Spring Book Sale. Thursday April 23, 24 and 25. It is open the hours of the library. The library will not be taking books for this event.
