The Lark Enterprises, Inc. Annual Awards Dinner and Holiday Celebration was recently held at Medure’s Catering on Butler Road in New Castle, PA
Four awards were presented this year. Client of the Year – Ellwood Road, Client of the Year – Green Ridge Drive, the Richard Furlong Award and the Determination Award. Individuals were nominated based on the following criteria:
Good Attendance, Ability to Move Forward with their goals, motivated to improve skills, Positive Attitude, Adaptability, Demonstrates Independence.
Charles Scurlock was awarded Client of the Year- Ellwood Road. Other nominees were Amy Elmer, Keith Romesburg, Mark Liberatore, the Screen Print Department.
Esther Bower received the Client of the Year- Green Ridge Drive with Joseph Gregory also being nominated.
The Richard Furlong Award goes to an individual in Small Group Employment. Shane Metts won the award.
The Determination Award goes to an individual working in the community through the Supported Employment Program. Brennon Lacko won the award, with Jonathan Bonyak also being nominated.
Lark Entreprises, Inc. is a nonprofit vocational rehabilitation and day service provider. Job training and social engagement opportunities are available for people with diverse abilities and other barriers to employment and community engagement.
