Bus Parade Planned Friday To Recognize Hartman Being Named PA Blue Ribbon School

A bus parade will take place Friday morning, October 31st to celebrate Hartman Intermediate School being named a Pennsylvania Blue Ribbon School.

Festivities are set to begin around 8:00 a.m. where the students line the halls and the teachers, led by the percussion line, walk the halls.  The school will then have an assembly from 8:15-9:00 a.m. with speakers, contests, and a celebration of the kids and staff.

You may see school buses and emergency vehicles traveling together through town. Please don’t be alarmed! This is part of the planned celebration.

I thought Hartman was the blue ribbon school, wouldn’t you want to have everything be at that facility to celebrate? Seems odd to bus the kids to Perry elementary, but what do I know?
