PART ONE: Ellwood City Arts, Crafts, Food & Entertainment Festival Series: Morgan Gruber: From Fombell to American Idol to the Festival Stage

Morgan Gruber, a rising country music star from Fombell, Pennsylvania, is set to captivate audiences at the Ellwood City Arts, Crafts, Food & Entertainment Festival on Saturday, July 5, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Known for her heartfelt lyrics and soulful voice, Morgan’s journey from small-town singer to national television sensation has been nothing short of inspiring.

At just 17, Morgan auditioned for American Idol Season 20, where she impressed judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie with her rendition of Elle King’s “Can’t Be Loved.” Her unique voice and raw emotion earned her a standing ovation and a spot in the Top 24, solidifying her place as a “diamond in the rough” in the eyes of the judges.

Following Idol, the Fombell native continued to flourish locally and regionally. She performed at events in the area and in August 2022 held a “farewell” show in Ellwood City before relocating to Nashville to pursue her career full-time. She remains active across the East Coast and beyond.

Morgan’s music reflects her deep roots in country living. Her original songs, such as “Raised by a Woman” and “Too Big for a Small Town,” showcase her reflective songwriting and “girl next door” charm . In 2023, she released her first single, “Whatever Gets You Through It,” and has plans to release more music in the near future.

Fans can catch Morgan’s performance at the Ellwood City Festival, where she will bring her authentic sound and heartfelt lyrics to the stage. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or new to her music, Morgan’s performance promises to be a highlight of the festival.

“I’m really looking forward to my first year performing at the Ellwood City Festival. I’ll be playing a mix of released songs, some unreleased ones I’ve been working on, and a few covers I love. Can’t wait to be part of it!”

Morgan’s career so far illustrates the power of genuine roots, strong family ties, and vocal sincerity—an emerging country artist on the cusp of inspiring more hearts. Expect more singles, more performances, and a bright future from this Fombell-born talent.

Don’t miss the chance to experience Morgan Gruber’s musical journey firsthand at the Ellwood City Arts, Crafts, Food & Entertainment Festival. Her blend of country charm and raw talent is sure to leave a lasting impression.
