Patty Jean Blatchford, 73, passed away on April 26, 2025 at the Ballad Health Hospice House in Bristol TN’. She resided with her beloved daughter Lori and son-in-law Jean-Pierre DeHenaut in Kingsport, TN.
Patty was blessed with four loved granddaughters: Jaquelyn of North Carolina, Jessika (Tom) of Pittsburgh, Josalyn of Cranberry, and Sarah DeHenaut of Kingsport, TN, and a great-grandson Billy Degitz.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Blatchford, parents James and Betty Evans, a sister Darlene Jordan, and a brother Jeff Evans.
She is survived by a brother Jimmy (Sharon) Evans of Ellwood City and a sister Kathy (Duane) Weingartner of Ohio and Lori’s dad Dean Funkhouser of Kentucky and Nieces and nephews and cousins.
Patty had a generous and fun loving spirit, as a cook and housekeeper, she always made work fun for her co workers. She was an excellent cook and spent many hours preparing food for friends and family. she was famous for her potato salad which will be missed.
Patty formerly attended Park Gate Baptist Church . She will be laid to rest in Clinton Cemetery in Wampum PA where there will be a graveside service.
The family is most grateful for the staff and nurses at Ballad Health Hospice House for their loving care for Patty and her family. Also for the loving care by Victoria Jones a close friend of the family.
May you rest in peace dear cousin. So many memories from when we were younger. We had so much family fun. Love you.
