  1. I SO love Jannie and her wonderful sense of humor! I remember her as a child. We went to Rural Hill Elementary School, a one room school house with a coal burning pot bellied stove and a water pump outside. Jannie was in 4th grade, my sister Sharlene was in 3rd grade and I was in 1st grade. Jannie was a trailblazer. She bravely wore shorts to school on a hot day and Mrs. Beatty had a fit and made her cover her legs with a sweater.

Since my move to Seattle, I always try to get the family together when I go back to Ellwood City. Jannie was always ready to party and she was certainly the life of the party!

I know how important all her family is to her, as well as her church, gym friends and the red hat ladies.
On behalf of my family and especially my brother Mark, who is bed bound with MS, we wish you all our deepest condolences. We love you Jannie! Your laughter, your jokes and your sense of service. Rest in Peace.
