Daniel James Blank, 23, of Scott Twp passed away Monday, February 10, 2025.
Born November 2, 2001 in Farrell, he was the son of Jacob R. and Nancy E. Blank.
Daniel graduated from Laurel Jr/Sr High School with the class of 2020. He furthered his education at Westminster College where he earned his degree in Biology, and a minor in Business. He was a dedicated member of the Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity. A gifted athlete, Daniel excelled on the football and track and field teams at both the high school and collegiate levels. His mother was known in the stands to be his biggest fan at every game. He was celebrated for his speed and agility and his unconditional love for the game and his teammates. He had a powerful compassion for anyone and everyone who needed support. He was a gifted singer and loved performing with his brother on the stage. He was highlighted in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference, won multiple awards throughout his athletic career and was a diligent student. He loved spending his free days on the golf course with his family and friends and learning new techniques from his older brother. He was working towards becoming a medical sales representative and owned a flourishing car detailing business. He took pride in his work and did what was best for the people he served. He was a faithful member of the Calvary Independent Church in New Castle. Some of his interests were traveling the country with his sister, attending concerts, exploring new foods and being outdoors. He was a lover of all animals, was a fierce friend to all those whom he loved and cherished his time with his family, especially in the summertime grilling and listening to Rush with his father.
In addition to his parents, survivors include sister, Michaela (Alisha Weinstein) Blank; two brothers, Dr. Jacob (Lauren) Blank and Andrew Blank and his nephew Holden Blank.
Friends will be received by the family on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 5:00 pm until the Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 pm at the Calvary Independent Church, 424 E. Moody Ave. New Castle PA, 16105. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Gettysburg, PA with the rest of his family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
