Donna G. Wright, 91, of Franklin Township passed away Friday, October 11, 2024 at Trinity Oaks Nursing Center following a four month illness.
Born June 7, 1933 in Rochester, she was the daughter of the late Merrill and Laureme Darling Brenner. She married the late William Wright on December 3, 1954. He passed away on December 31, 2006.
Donna graduated from Rochester High School. She was the former owner of Wright’s Country Fruit Market. A member of First Church of God, Donna was steadfast and had an unwavering faith in her savior Jesus Christ.
Survivors include two Sons, Robert D. (Audrey) Wright of San Antonio, TX, W. David (Lori) Wright of Beaver Falls; daughter, Melinda D. (Tom) Ferree of Chewton; eight grandchildren, Jonathan Wright, Christopher Wright, Matthew Wright M.D., Carol Sprinker, Bryan Wright, Luke Wright, TJ Ferree and Josh Ferree; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kay (Dave) Allen of New Brighton and Leona DeRosia of Renfrew; brother-in-law, James Wright, and various nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law Peg Wright and Sophie Giffen and two brothers-in-law William Giffen and Thomas DeRosia.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday October 13, 2024 from 3:00 pm until the funeral service at 5:00 pm at the First Church of God Ellwood City. Pastor John Davis will officiate.
Private interment will be in St. Johns Burry’s Church Cemetery in Zelienople.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God.
The family would like to thank the staff at Trinity Oaks for their kind and compassionate care.
