Linda B Cistolo, 75, born July 29th 1949 in Beaver Falls Pennsylvania, loving daughter of the late Milan and Dorothy Pavlovic; dear sister of Anne Muoio (deceased Gene), Nancy Smith, twin Judy Tamarro (Bob) and the late Peter Pavlovic and Norma Makar (Lou); beloved wife of 53.5 years Robert J Cistolo, cherished mother of Michael Cistolo (Lisa), Joseph Cistolo (Lisa), and MaryBeth Cistolo; adored by her grandchildren Lena, Anthony, Alexandria, Katrina, Nathan, Brody, Dorothy and Paulie J.
Linda was raised in Koppel, Pennsylvania. A 1967 graduate of Lincoln High School in Ellwood City PA. She raised over 50 children in her Berea home where friends quickly became family. Some of her best friendships were started when they asked her to watch their expectant babies.
Linda was everybody’s favorite mom. Never was there a visitor to her home who left without being forced to eat! The words, “I’m not hungry” didn’t register with Linda the mom of Berea.
She loved to cook and bake especially meatballs, pizelles and the pain in the ass blueberry bread. Linda was never one to shy away from saying what was on her mind. She had a way with people, especially strangers. Somehow she knew everyone’s business and everyone she met knew her whole family’s life history.
Please join us Saturday morning, September 28th at 10am, at St. Adalbert’s Parish in Berea, Ohio for a celebration of life mass. Lunch to follow at JBella restaurant in Strongsville, Ohio. All are welcome. View on McGorray-Hanna Funeral Home website
