The Ellwood City Festival kicked off Friday with its 7th Annual Little Miss Firecracker pageant.
The 2024 Little Miss Firecracker crown was awarded to 6-year-old Bristol Borselli.
Bristol is the daughter of Drew and Keisha Borselli.
Bristol dazzled the judges with her patriotic outfit that included a red, white and blue lace dress and sparkling red cowgirl boots. She won them over with her sparkling personality to match! When asked why she wanted to be Little Miss Firecracker, Bristol said, “because I want to be the star of my family.”
First runner-up was given to Katerina Callahan Lennon Greco earned the Patriotic Spirit Award. Last year’s winner, Reagan Boariu, also joined in on the fun.
Congratulations to all of the participants, judges, and Jenn Greco for organizing the pageant. Borselli will get to ride in all of Ellwood’s annual parades for the year. All participants will receive trophies , sashes and a small gift.
Fireworks will be held on Sunday at 10:00 pm. Visitors are welcome to view them from Helling Stadium.
