Portersville Christian School Open House/Information Night on April 26

An Open House/Information Night for prospective students and their families will be held at Portersville Christian School, 343 E. Portersville Road, Portersville, Pa., on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at 7 p.m. Families interested in learning about enrollment for the 2016-17 school year are invited to attend.

Portersville Christian School (PCS) provides a distinctively Christian education to students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. PCS is the only fully-accredited Christian school in the Butler-Lawrence-Mercer county area that offers comprehensive education through the high school level as well as Fine Arts and Athletics programs.

The school’s strong academic background is evidenced by high standardized test and SAT scores and in college acceptance rates of graduates. In addition to offering regular courses leading to graduation, the school also provides students in grades 11 and 12 the opportunity to take AP classes, and to earn up to fifteen college credits through dual enrollment courses

Fine Arts at PCS includes music and art classes for all elementary and middle school students; a high school production in the fall and musical in the spring; and elementary and high school band and choir. Athletics at PCS provides opportunities for boys and girls in all grade levels and include basketball, soccer, volleyball, cheering and archery.

Families attending the Information Night/Open House will learn about the Christ-centered academic excellence and extra-curricular opportunities at PCS. Tours of the school will be offered and families will have the opportunity to meet the Head Administrator and teachers.
