Jean Carol Mars, 82, of New Beaver Borough went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Heritage Valley – Beaver following a brief illness.
Born May 19, 1939 in West Winfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late James Franklin “Frank” and Helen M. Hairhoger Mars.
Jean graduated from Wampum High School in 1957. She enjoyed working and exhibiting at local fairs and markets. Her most cherished moments were spent with her family.
Survivors left to mourn her passing include daughter, Lisa Agnello Douglas with whom she resided; son, David Agnello of New Beaver; three grandchildren, Jordan (Jessica), David (Hebist), and Michelle Agnello; three great grandchildren Leo, Delaney Jean, and Harley Agnello; sister, Janice Mars Green of Memphis, TN and a brother, Eugene Mars of Dunellen, FL.
She was preceded in death by her son; Lenny Agnello; two brothers; James F. Jr. and Jay C. Mars and her former husband Leonard “Bo” Agnello.
A private graveside service for the family will be held at Clinton Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Chewton or to the family in care of the Marshall Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the home of Helen Mars at 1123 Wampum New Galilee Rd. beginning at 3:00 PM on Thursday, September 9, 2021.
