POLICE: Weekly Police Blotter

THEFT:
A theft was reported as a pressure washer was taken from a residence on Van Gorder Mill Road, Perry Township. According to a PA State Police report, between the dates of March 10 and May 1, 2021, the pressure washer, a G3050HR Karcher G3050 OHR, valued at $450.00, was taken from the residence. The investigation is ongoing.

HARASS PHYSICAL CONTACT:
Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to a home on Old Route 18, New Beaver Boro, on April 24 at 11:24 p.m. after receiving a call that a 65 year old female and 67 year old man were arguing. Upon their arrival, officers found that both parties were in a verbal argument that turned physical. Charges for both parties are still pending.

HARASSMENT:
New Castle Police responded to a call on Fox Street in Lawrence County on May 5th. According to the report, Zachary Pounds, 24 of Ellwood City, was charged with Harass Physical Contact.

ONE VEHICLE ACCIDENT:
Police responded to a one vehicle accident on Wurtemburg Road on April 26 just after 10:00 p.m. According to the report, the driver, a 54-year-old female from Ellwood City, failed to negotiate a left hand turn and the vehicle, a 2018 Nissan Rogue, then exited the roadway and struck a utility pole. The driver was not injured in the crash.
