Lois A. Panella, 75

Lois A. Panella, 75, of New Beaver Borough passed away peacefully Monday, March 1, 2021 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, following a short illness.

Born May 29, 1945 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late William and Sarah Hairhoger Barber.

Lois was a graduate of Mohawk High School. She was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling, visiting casinos, and country entertainment. Her favorite time was shared with family.

Survivors include her companion of 25 years, Robert E. Allison, with whom she resided; two daughters, Robin Mitrea and her companion Ransom Luffman of Salisbury, MD, Billie Jo (Michael) Wyant of Moravia; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held at the Clinton United Methodist Church on March 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dave Keppen officiating. Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum.

  1. I Knew and loved Lois like an aunt. I knew Mike Wyant since ’92 I’m so sorry Billy Jo. May God forgive her, protect her and keep her alive in Heaven forever. In the name of Jesus and the blood of Jesus, Lord please hear my prayers and act upon them.
