Roma Jean Wallace, 85

Roma Jean Wallace, 85, of Koppel passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 13, 2020 at Heritage Valley – Beaver Hospital.

Born and raised in Castlewood, Jean was the daughter of the late Earl and Sara (Johns) Overbeck.

Jean worked at HIll View Manor for 25 years in the dietary department. She enjoyed cooking. Jean cherished time spent with family, especially her grandchildren, who were her everything.

Survivors include a daughter, Debbie (Charles) Kahne of Ellport; two sons, Sam (Valerie Valentino) Wallace of Ellport, Earl (Patty) Wallace of New Castle; three grandchildren, Shannon (Jeanine Mazak) Kahne, Ashley (Mike) McAnallen, Ronnielee Schaffer; two great grandchildren, Mariah Baer and Charli McAnallen; her lifetime special friend, Jean Kingston of Castlewood and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Sam Wallace in 2015; siblings, Earletta Woloszyn, Dolores Woloszyn, Shirley Overbeck, and Earl Overbeck Jr. and a special friend, Marie Wiley.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic there will be no public services. Private services will be held with Rev. Ray Start of the Free Methodist Church officiating. Final interment will take place in Harmony Baptist Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
