Upcoming Tennis Mini-Clinic Planned In Ewing Park

There will be a youth tennis clinic hosted by the Ellwood City Girls tennis team and coaches, marking this year as the 5th year of holding the clinic.

“We want kids to find interest in playing tennis and learning about the game,” said girls tennis head coach John DiBuono.

The clinic will be held on July 8th, 9th, and 10th from 10:00 to 11:30 at the Ewing park courts. The clinic, open to children 5 to 12, costs $25. Checks should be made payable to Ellwood City Girls Tennis. Each participant will receive a T-shirt.

“A player should expect to learn many aspects of the game, and how to have fun with the game,” said DiBuono. “Players should get excited about how you can improve in just a short amount of time if they keep with it and continue to play on the courts.”
