The Pine Valley Ride for Hope will be hosting its 6th annual event this year on Saturday, June 22, rain or shine. If there happens to be rain, there will be an alternative route, that is shorter, taken.
This year, it will be hosted by the New Castle Harley Davidson dealership located on 4655 US 422. Registration will be on the day of the event from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. The cost is $30 or a driver, that will include a t-shirt, $15 for a passenger, and $15 for anyone who comes to eat. All participating will be provided with a meal.
There will be pastries, coffee, and waters provided with a Chinese auction, raffle tickets, and t-shirts available for purchase. The ride will leave at 11:00 a.m. and the Big Meal will be served at 2:30 p.m.
The ride will begin and end at the New Castle Harley Davidson dealership. After the ride, all participants will be invited to enjoy a Big Buffet style meal with musical entertainment by the Street Level Band. The Chinese auction and raffle winners will be announced after dinner.
Ride for Hope is an annual motorcycle ride event that first began in 2014 with the intent of raising awareness of and funding for Pine Valley Camp in Ellwood City. Pine Valley’s ministry is focused on serving inner city and underprivileged youth by offering them the opportunity to attend a residential summer camp for just $35 dollars. The remaining funding needed to cover costs comes to Pine Valley through donations from individuals, churches, businesses, and grants. Last summer, 712 campers came to Pine Valley.
Sponsorships will begin at $100 with your company name printed on the back of the t-shirt sold at the event. Please make any checks payable to “Pine Valley Camp” with “Benefit Ride” on the memo line.
All proceeds from this will benefit the Pine Valley Camp.
For more information and to pre-register online, visit the Pine Valley Camp website or call the office at 724-752-1661.
