Valerie Valentino conducted a meeting of the Corona D’italia #807 Memorial Scholarship Committee on Wednesday, March 20, 5:00 PM at Pizza Joe’s. The session began with the group enjoying lunch of their choice. Lois DiFrischia presented candy favors to all in attendance.
The committee will host a Mother-Daughter-Scholarship dinner on Tuesday, May 07, 5:00 PM at the Wolverine Restaurant. This will represent the final awarding of two $500.00 scholarships as the Lodge has disbanded. It is requested that reservations be made by contacting DiFrischia at 724-752-9496, no later than April 30. Choice of meals will be stuffed pork chop or stuffed chicken breast.
The session closed with Valentino distributing fundraising tickets for March to committee members, Louise Vitullo, Mary Jane Folino, Patty Regna,
Pudue LaCava, Jackie Perno, Margaret Cancelli and Clemmy Sirimarco. They may be contacted for the purchase of tickets.
