Aseneth J. “Seene” Doctor, 50, of Wilkes Ave., Butler passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler following a short courageous battle with cancer.
Born December 26, 1967 in Mercer, she was the daughter of Forrest C. McCamey and Roberta J. Hoffman (Larry) Geer. She was married for 13 years to George S. Doctor who survives. They had been together for 21 years.
Seene graduated from Moniteau High School in West Sunbury. She worked all of her life, including for IBIS Teck, Mine Safety, and most recently in the cafeteria for the Butler School District. She enjoyed couponing and going to flea markets. Her most cherished time was spent with her husband and her sons.
In addition to her husband and parents, survivors include three sons, Legend (Billie Brehm) Barlow of Eau Clair and Ruger and Hoyt Doctor, both at home; and siblings, Laura L. (Joseph J.) Hoffman-Arblaster, John P (Cherie) Hoffman, Darius (Victoria) Geer, Patrick McCamey, and Phillip McCamey.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents who raised her, Russell H. and Marsha Hoffman, and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Wilda McCamey, and an aunt, Sheila.
At Seene’s request, there will be no public visitation or services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum.
