Michael Makrenos,64, of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 20 2018 at his home in New Jersey.
He was born in Ellwood City on September 8 1953, to the late Michael S. Makrenos and the late Mary Tirlea Makrenos.
Mike graduated from high school in New York, after the family left Ellwood City, and later graduated from Brockport State with a degree in physical education.
He was co-owner, with his father, of M & M’s Tool Mart in Ocean City NJ for many years, and was a member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Egg Harbor Twp.
He is survived by two sisters, Michelle Worden (and Wayne Wagner) of Penn Yan NY; and Mary Beth (and Scott) Makrenos-Petrus of Egg Harbor Township NJ.; and by one nephew, Michael Petrus.
Friends may visit from 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 24 in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME, 500 Sixth Street, Ellwood City.
Services will be conducted at TURNERS on Tuesday, at 11:00 A.M., and burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery, North Sewickley.
