Louise Helen Welsh, 81, of the Haven Convalescent Home, New Castle, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully at the Haven on Sunday morning, June 3, 2018.
She was born in New Brighton PA on May 24 1937 to the late Lewis H. and Ida Knight Welsh.
She graduated from Lincoln High School, class of 1957. She worked for many years as a companion and aide to many elderly people.
Louise was a longtime member of the Park Alliance Church in Ellwood City.
She was the last of her family, and is survived by one niece and several nephews.
No visitation is planned and services will be private. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
The TURNER FUNERAL HOME, 500 Sixth Street, Ellwood City, is entrusted with arrangements.

My condolences to Louise Welsh’s family. She was a dear friend of mine in our Ewing Park Alliance Church during our high school days in the 1950’s. She was part of our young girl’s Sunday School class. We often met in homes and Louise was always so friendly and loved to laugh. I’m glad she was part of my life growing up. God bless her; I know she is with Jesus!
